Sandra earned a degree in Biochemistry and completed an MSc in Biomedical Research at the University of the Balearic Islands in 2024. During her academic journey, she built a solid foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry, and experimental research techniques. Her research interests center on understanding the biochemical mechanisms that influence human health and disease, with a particular focus on cancer therapies. In 2025, Sandra spent a few months at BERG, where she contributed to research exploring low-field electroporation as a novel approach to cancer therapy.
