Radwan studied Electronic Engineering at Al-Quds University, Palestine, from which he received his master degree in computer science. He started working in 1999 at the deanship of scientific research at Al-Quds University, and became a research assistant in public health and medical research projects. In 2004, he became the head of information unit at Al-Quds Nutrition and Health Research Institute. Radwan obtained his Ph.D. at the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DTIC) of UPF. His research at the DTIC focused mainly on treatment planning methods for electroporation based therapies.
