In 2017, Masoud began his BSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran, where he developed a strong interest in Biophysics. This passion led him to pursue a MSc in Biophysics at the University of Tehran, which he completed in 2021. During his master's program, he focused on electroporation, specifically researching the decellularization of rat sciatic nerves using non-thermal irreversible electroporation (IRE). The primary goal of his research was to preserve the extracellular matrix (ECM) during this process. Since 2024, Masoud has been pursuing his PhD in Information and Communication Technologies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). His current research involves studying the effects of low electric field magnitude on electroporation.
