On March 2011, Jarold A. Gonzalez finished both Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering degrees at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Afterwards he joined BERG at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in order to design and implement a system for liquid media sterilization based on electroporation, which was the aim of his first MSc  thesis. His second MSc thesis was carried out at the Tampere University of Technology in Finland; the main purpose was to research on the effects of ELF electric fields on implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD).

Since September 2012, he has been working as embedded software engineer at Lear Corporation assigned to the area of high power electronics within the Advanced Engineering Department.
