Emma is currently a french engineering student at Institut d'Optique Graduate School in Paris, graduating in 2023. Although she focused on the field of optics and photonics during her master's degree, she is also interested in devices and biomedical research. 

She joined BERG for 4 months from April to August 2022 as an intern, working on electroporation. Her involvement in the project consisted in the construction of an optical mapping system in order to observe any electroporation effects on cultured cells monolayers.
