Alvaro Jansà studied Human Biology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, from which he received his diploma in 2012. After this, he took a MSc degree in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry.

 

He worked in cancer research at IMIM. Later, he worked in the bioinformatics private sector, developing several projects based on Next Generation Sequencing technology and bioinformatics.

 

In November 2015 he started working at UPF-BERG as a Scientific Project Manager developing a medical device for prostate cancer based on electrical methods.
