Nerea is a current undergraduate student of biomedical engineering degree at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), where she started as an internship student with BERG for the project “electronic AXONs: wireless microstimulators based on electronic rectification of epidermally applied currents” (eAXON). In particular, she has developed her skills on the implementation of interconnection and encapsulation components for the construction of eAXON. Apart from biomedical electronic research area, her other interests focus on artificial intelligence and synthetic biology.
