Electronic Engineer from Universitat de Barcelona (2013) and MSc. in Microelectronics from Universidad de Sevilla (2015). He worked in several areas of electronics, from embedded software for computers and appliances, to analog and discrete electronics. From 2012 to 2017 Gerard worked at SiUB, a service of the University of Barcelona that does instrumentation design, development and test to research groups. There he worked in the integrated circuit design for High Energy Physics applications. He then moved to industry, first as an embedded software engineer in E.G.O Appliance Controls S.L.U and then as a hardware design engineer at Beamagine, a spin-off from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2019, Gerard fully moved to the microelectronics field as an Analog Design Engineer in Monolithic Power Systems, an American publicly traded company that specializes in power management solutions for electronic systems, where he shared and learned from some of the greatest professionals of the field.
