Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies (DTIC) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) from May 2017. Prior to joining the UPF, she was Postdoctoral Fellow at the Universitat Politècnica de València with a grant supported by the Generalitat Valenciana. Before receiving this grant in September 2016, she had a two-year postdoctoral position at Basque Center for Applied Mathematics-BCAM (2014-2016) supported by Severo Ochoa Grant.  She received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering  from the Universitat Politècnica de Valéncia, in 2014. During her PhD, she conduct a research stay for 4 months at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School) supported by a Predoctoral Grant from Generalitat Valenciana. Her main research is focused on ablative techniques (radiofrequency and electroporation), especially  in the field of cardiac ablation.
